So it seems that, at Les Baux, Les Alpilles, pretty much every bird bends over backwards to be as tame and photogenic as possible, and of all that were, perhaps none were quite as beautiful as this stunning male Black Redstart. They may be everywhere here, but I've never quite had the ideal opportunity to get decent shots - until now that is, and this bird was just a joy to kick around with in the medieval castle ruins.
