Nocturnal Sounds of Filey Dams, Spring '21 (part two)

Roosting Swallows having a chinwag before lights-out:

Adult Tawny Owls call-and-responding, with wikwikwiks and hoots.....

...and the easily missable, high-pitched trisyllabic squeaks of a Tawny Owl chick - fluffy, flightless and just out of the nest.....

Breeding birds often pipe up seemingly randomly in the middle of the night, including this annoyed-sounding Tufted Duck....

More to follow in the coming weeks and months - watch this space.
