A fine day out at this beautifully named Audubon reserve with Ned & Ammie, and plenty of good birding in mixed habitats, including swamp, overgrown orchard, farmland, wetland and scrub; the highlight, however, was the muskrat pictured above and below, which swam directly towards us to within a couple of metres.
