
Once again invoking the Law of Sod, after posting yesterday's tern photos I went out onto the Brigg and gained far better ones, including adults feeding young on the sea and fishing close-up - for another time soon.

Another treat on a sunny, blustery afternoon with heavy wader passage was this accommodating dark-morph Arctic Skua; not perfect, but happy to get any usable shots in light of the camera shake involved and the amount of snot presently pouring from the nostrils alongside it.

Expect plenty more from the Brigg end over the coming weeks....
