Maine Warblers, August '25

More from our stay in Maine with dear friends Kat, George, Indigo and their menagerie of animals. As well as plenty of swimming in lakes, running, cook-outs, boozy nights and days out, we had several wanders in local reserves and woods; while not too expectant, we still bumped into plenty of migrants filtering through alongside local breeders.
Warbler diversity was pretty good, and included these species (see following posts for others) - Prairie Warblers (above), American Redstarts (below), Common Yellowthroats and a Nashville Warbler (following those) and (at the foot of the page) a Northern Waterthrush dashing across a path.
