The last in this series of month-to-month comparison posts, which is probably just as well, with more contemporary posts and photos to upload from recent activities. So December here in Filey was somewhat of a non-event, with the wholly unproductive wet and mild conditions continuing (as well personally being away for a fair chunk of the month - no great loss).....

Still, any excuse to trawl through the highlights of our year-long round-the-world trip, and so to the equivalent month a year earlier. It's impossible to pick a favourite place from the trip, and all were fantastically diverse, thrilling and adventure-filled in their own different ways; December, however, meant Kerala, and Kerala is heaven by any other name.
It really would be foolish to attempt a greatest hits from Kerala - just way, way too many amazing photo opportunities and wildlife experiences to draw from - and so best just to direct your eyes over to the rolling posts I uploaded at the time..... one could start here at Thattekad, or here at Periyar........
