Filey vs The World - September (2)
Taiwan Nutcracker, White-whiskered Laughingthrush
So this September - well, it could've been a lot worse here in Filey. The previous September, however, could hardly have been better. We spent most of it in Taiwan, a wonderful place with lovely people and extraordinary birds and wildlife.
Black-throated Tit, Taiwan Bush Warbler, Amur Wagtail
Again, it's nigh on impossible to isolate highlights from such a fruitful part of the trip (and if you've more than a passing interest, then I'd advise going to the previous posts drop-down menu on the right, and looking through October 2011), but here's a few of the Island's many avian wonders to whet the appetite.
Plumbeous Water Redstart, Japanese White-eye, Swinhoe's Pheasant
